tight rope is project that started in 2017 as a way to explore eroticism and adult play through hand-braiding ropes on a Japanese kumihimo stand. This is a very meditative process, similar to weaving on a loom, which uses repetitive movement and pattern to create a strong textile. These are the first works I documented with a flatbed scanner. The project has been on a physical pause since spring of 2020
